Michelle Tadros - Sydney CBD
Principal Clinical Psychologist
I am a clinical psychologist and have been working with clients to help them reflect, grow and transform their lives for seventeen years. I am passionate about this work and over the years I have seen hundreds of people overcome anxiety and depression and create more rich satisfying lives through the process of therapy.
I like to identify my clients’ strengths and focus on helping them utilise the resources they have to meet the challenges they face. The process of psychological therapy helps people build lives they want to live and rediscover what really matters to them. I am trained in therapeutic approaches that are supported by scientific evidence and take an evidence based approach to my practice.
I’ve worked in large public hospitals, private psychiatric hospitals and have spent fifteen years in private practice in Sydney. I have six years of university training in psychology, with a Masters in clinical psychology and a Bachelor of Arts with first class honours in psychology both from the University of Sydney. My academic training has given me knowledge of the approaches to psychological therapy that are supported by scientific research. I select treatment approaches according to the needs of each individual client and take a flexible approach in adapting the scientific principles of treatment to each person and situation. I have won awards for my work in research and have taught counselling and lectured in psychology at the University of Sydney and taught developmental psychology at the University of Melbourne and Macquarie University.
